WARNING: Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. is warning consumers about a phishing scheme circulating on social media that falsely claims to offer discounts on electricity bills. BPL is urging consumers not to click suspicious links or provide personal, account or payment information through unverified sources.
The company advised customers to keep their accounts current using authorised payment methods, including its official website at bplco.com, its cashier and kiosk at the Peter I. Bethel Building, Family Island pay stations, participating bank branches, Cash N’ Go and SunCash.
