FREEPORT| An 11-year-old boy is recovering after being attacked and bitten by a dog while playing at Susan J. Wallace Park in Grand Bahama on Saturday evening.
The child’s mother reported the incident to the Central Police Station after he sought medical treatment at Rand Memorial Hospital.
His condition is currently unknown. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the dog or identify its owner.
Investigations by officers from the Central Division and the Canine Unit are ongoing.
