Nassau, Bahamas — A group of PLP MPs are set to join the VOTE “NO” campaign against the legalization of the number business in the Bahamas.

The crack in the government’s support of the idea appears to be getting worse by the day even after Prime Minister Christie agreed to put off the Dec. 3rd vote last week.

BP understands that, in addition to the MPs, some five of the eight gambling operators will also throw their support behind the “NO” Vote Campaign, which means the Government could lose its battle on the decision to make gambling legal in the Bahamas.

Just minutes ago, HE Picewell Forbes, MP for South Andros, told Parliament he is a member of Church of GOD and, because of that relationship, he cannot support any form of gaming in The Bahamas.

HE FORBES does not support the government’s push to legalize the gaming business in the country and made vocal his position today.

HE Forbes – like a maverick – has come with the views of his Constituents to support the “NO” vote campaign and encouraged Bahamians to do the same!

BREAKING NEWS HAPPENING NOW <<< NO VOTE HITS THE GOVERNMENT SIDE!!!!
