Yes young people die too…

Nassau, Bahamas — A young woman is the country’s latest traffic fatality and the 10th person to die on the streets of Grand Bahama this year.

Perhaps speed was a factor when 19-year-old Natalie Elsie of Cromwell Drive, Grand Bahama lost control of her blue Saturn vehicle, which landed sideways into bushes on Coral Road.

She was trapped and pinned in the vehicle where she died a short time later.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident unfolded early Friday morning. Again, police are asking motorist to drive slowly, adhere to the traffic signs, don’t drink, don’t text and wear seatbelts.

Drive to arrive alive.
