ANDROS| Bahamas Press is now learning a Piper PA -34 aircraft has lost contact with authorities.
The Aircraft left Great Harbour Cay after 10am for arrival into the Miami Executive Airport, however communications were lost in flight.
Joint search and rescue teams between the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and The United States Coast Guard have commenced starting from the last known position of the aircraft.
That search and rescue of the aircraft remains unsuccessful. It is still unclear how many souls are onboard.
