Victim struck high into the air by speeding car
Nassau, Bahamas — Sadly tonight Bahamas Press is reporting another traffic fatality here in the capital just minutes ago.
We can report a speeding motorist struck a young man walking across the wide street of East Street South near the old Dunkin Donuts into the air.
The victim died on the scene.
From all account the suspect fled the crime scene following the accident.
This latest incident records the second fatality in less than 24-hours and the 7th individual to be seriously injured on the streets of the capital in one day.
