Is this not the same man who collected millions from FTX?
NASSAU| So there is this “bey” named Paul Francis Aranha who up and down social media attacking the PM at every turn and chance he gets.
Paul happens to have been at the centre of a gift programme when Sam Bankman-Fried was in the Bahamas with his Crypto FTX programme and was given some funds by the Crypto giant before the collapse of FTX. How Paul escaped the clutches of the collectors of FTX is a whole other story but somehow of late he is fixated on attacking the Government for his friends in Opposition.
WELL, Paul Francis Aranha should know we at Bahamas Press know of his connections to Dionisio D’Aguilar and his wife who is at the centre of a “billing” operation. We will get just where we need to know in the coming weeks, months and maybe years on this story. There is plenty to unpack here.
Mr D’Aguilar, yinner should recall, was the former Minister for Tourism and Aviation under the Minnis government and today we note that his wife also played a role in some operations of Aviation in the Bahamas.
Paul Francis Aranha should know we have sat quietly watching his many claims against The Government of the Bahamas. But when pilots, aviation experts and the wider Bahamian public get to know what we now know about this suspect and his benefactors then you will understand his anger online.
