Junior Junkanoo Starts the Holidays as the Competition Begin on Bay Street

Nassau, The Bahamas – Woodcock Primary School wilded spectators at the 20th annual Esso Junior Junkanoo Parade held on Bay Street. Over 17 groups rushed in the senior and primary divisions that moved along the streets into the early morning hours.

Woodcock presented “My Bahamas” to the crowd of spectators assembled, and shared their presentations with the straw along with other national themes in the Bahamas.

The parade was held in the honour of Ms Veronica Ingraham-Thompson the organizer of the first Junior Junkanoo Parade some 20 years ago.
