Nassau Bahamas – Conditions continue to deteriorate around the Bahamas as Tropical Storm Noel move closer into Bahamian waters. In the capital Nassau, winds and scattered showers are picking up as the killer storm approaches. T-Storm Noel is responsible for some 22 deaths and have created mudslides in some areas in the Caribbean.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in The Bahamas have announced all island preparedness from the Tropical Storm and noted that the country’s main power supply company (BEC) will shut down at some time later today.
Around 3 PM this afternoon residents were seen in the eastern district of the capital Nassau making final preparations for the storm, collecting grocery items and medical supplies in the Harbour Bay Shopping Plaza.
