Norwegian Cruise Ship Makes Inaugural Freeport Visit

The three-month-old, 965-foot-long Norwegian Gem cruise ship made its official inaugural voyage to the Lucayan Harbour Earlie’s Thursday morning (January 3, 2008), with some 3000 passengers to Freeport, Grand Bahama. The Norwegian Cruise Line would be coming to Freeport, Grand Bahama, every Thursday. The Ministry of Tourism and the Freeport Harbour Company made a plaque exchange presentation on board the Norwegian Gem.
