Police continue investigations into Mclean’s Town armed robbery

Grand Bahama POLICE INVESTIGATES ARMED ROBBERY – Stolen vehicle recovered…. Officers at the Central Detective Unit here on the island are continuing their investigations into an armed robbery that was reported shortly before 5:00pm yesterday, Tuesday 3rd January, 2012.

Uniformed and plain clothes officers responded to a call received at 4:49pm where persons operating a Ferry Boat Service from the dock in McLean’s Town were robbed of cash, tickets and two cellular phones. The complainants reported that minutes before the report was made, they were approached by two masked men armed with handguns in a dark colored car. The culprits demanded cash and made good their escape with the aforementioned items in the vehicle after firing a shot in the air.

The officers were conducting checks of the area when they recovered the purple 1994 Nissan Skyline car that was reported stolen on 19th December, 2011 in the area of the Oil Company in East Grand Bahama.

THESE DARN ROAD PROJECT PEOPLE HAVE BLOCKED EVERY CORNER FROM BK ON PRINCE CHARLES TO THE LIGHT AT SEABREEZE3 AND EVERY SIDE CORNER INCLUDING WHERE I LIVE WITHOUT ANY NOTICE I WAS STUCK IN TRAFFIC FOR A HOUR N A HALF JUST TRYING TO GET FROM THE MALL TO MONESTERY PARK. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE THE AMOUNT OF FERUSTRATION CAUSED FROM THIS IS ABNORMAL. hOW CAN WE GET IN CONTACT WITH THE PERSON WHO NPLANS EVERYTHING LIKE THE ROAD BLOCKAGE AND WHAT NOT FOR THE NASSAU ROAD DEVELOPMENT.
