TRAFFIC FATALITY: Police are investigating a traffic accident on Fox Hill Road South that resulted in the death of a 54-year-old male on Saturday, 15th August 2026.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m., police received a report of a traffic accident involving two vehicles, with a male reportedly unresponsive at the scene. Police and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched to the area.
Upon arrival, officers observed a burgundy 2002 Nissan March with extensive damage to its front end. An unresponsive male was found inside the vehicle. EMS examined the victim and confirmed that he showed no vital signs of life.
The second vehicle, a silver 2015 Nissan Note, also sustained extensive damage to its front end. The vehicle was being driven by a female, who was examined at the scene before being transported to hospital for further medical attention.
The initial investigation indicates that the female driver was travelling north along Fox Hill Road, while the male driver was travelling south. It is alleged that the male driver crossed over or deviated into the western lane of the roadway, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
The investigation remains ongoing.
