laingribbonNassau, Bahamas — Scotiabank has opened a branch in the Caves Village. They have come nearer to our community. They will now be opened on Saturday and well this is all good need.

Bahamas Press wonders, however, when such a bank stop firing young hardworking Bahamians and have them replace with expats? We also wonder when will the WUTLESS MEDIA in this country carry both sides of the Scotia story.

It’s all good to talk about the branch opening, but it is fair to equally speak to the issue of those who are being fired! STOP YOUR WUTLESS BIAS REPORTING!

Zhivargo Laing, Minister for State in the Ministry of Finance, was the featured speaker at the official opening ceremony. Pictured is Linda Malcom, wife of Scotiabank Managing Director, Barry Malcom, cuts the ceremonial ribbon. Also shown are Mr. Laing (right) and Wendy Craigg, Governor, Central Bank of the Bahamas (left), and in the background Rod Pifield, Group Head at Scotiabank, Barry Malcom, Managing Director, Pastor Matthew Sawyer, and Renee Virgill, Branch Manager.
