The Ministry of Works & Family Island Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to Eleuthera and the Family Islands by advancing the modernization of aviation infrastructure.
Works Minister Hon. Clay Sweeting, alongside Prime Minister Phillip Davis and Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Chester Cooper, announced a $14.525M contract with Apex Paving Company Ltd. for the full reconstruction of the Rock Sound International Airport runway, scheduled for completion within 12 months.
