GRAND BAHAMA| A 59-year-old American man is recovering after being bitten by a shark while spearfishing off Sweeting’s Cay on Tuesday afternoon.
Police on Grand Bahama say the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. as the man was retrieving his catch when a shark bit him.
He sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment. He is reported to be in stable condition.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
