PM DAVIS: This weekend in Abraham’s Bay, we opened the new $2.1M Mayaguana International Airport terminal.
For residents, it means better comfort and connectivity. For visitors, easier access. And for Mayaguana, it signals something bigger – confidence in the island’s future and a wider plan to unlock opportunity, including the proposed deepwater seaport project that could generate up to 2,000 jobs over its lifetime.
Mayaguana’s new airport terminal is part of the first major Family Island airport infrastructure programme in our history, backed by hundreds of millions to upgrade airports and runways across The Bahamas. That’s how we ensure progress reaches every community.
