NASSAU| When Michael Clifton Pintard is removed as leader of the FNM expect changes to the Upper House to complete the transition of leadership inside the opposition party.
Bahamas Press is learning current Deputy Leader of the FNM Shanendon Cartwright aka DA MACE THROWER will be appointed to the Senate.
BP can tell you the deal to appoint Cartwright is to right the wrong committed on the deputy leader by Pintard. The move was also discussed at the big meeting at the Turnquest ranch on Tonique Darling Highway this past week.
Again, BP can tell you Pintard shall be removed as leader of the party at a conclave to be held soon, and we believe East Grand Bahama MP Kwasi Thomspon shall be elevated to interim Leader before a second Conclave is held to conclude election of officers across the party.
With Pintard soon to be gone from the leadership, so will all his misfits and goons inside the executive. This ga be good!
It is likely that former NBA Canadian star Ulrich “Rick” Fox, who is a stranger to the FNM, could also be replaced to accommodate the move for Cartwright. Fox needs the job after being sacked and sued by his business partners up north.
What FNMs should also look forward to at the second conclave is the emergence of the real future leader of the FNM! There are two.
One, who could come as a dark horse in the middle of the night, is Desmand Bannister, the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Works. He was also at the Turnquest ranch when the riot act was read to Pintard to leave the FNM!
Also a one to watch is lame duck politican – the Bad Candidate in Lizzy and then in Bamboo Town Dr. Duane Sands, who allowed THE BIG DEAL Patricia Deveaux to drop the bamboo on him in the May 12 General Elections.
In the end Michael Pintard is GONE! He can start counting the days, and all his goons, misfits and rejects are set to be out of the FNM! THIS GA BE GOOD!
