NASSAU| The Bahamas Educational Management Union (BEMU) President Stephen McPhee who closed schools on the first opening days of the new year, was in the papers this week making noise over lost learning time with students.
Mind you, this is the same character who sought to disrupt education in early September, arguing over promotions.
Now here is a Union man who wanted his wife to take over the BTVI while he ran the principals and, because he could not have his way, he is now threatening more loss of learning time for children.
This is the same union president who has called industrial action on the first day of school for the last three years.
Mind you, it was the Minister for Education who had to take him to court, requesting an injunction be put in place to stop McPhee’s madness!
How could McPhee suggest administrators are kept in the dark when disruptions occur at schools? It is the Principals and Administrators who are the first responders when problems like electrical issues occur at schools.
Stephen McPhee needs to know that his wife will not be getting that top job at BTVI and someone has to tell him this!
Stop ya nonsense! And grow up!
We report yinner decide!
