A 17-year-old Male shot in a Haitian Village in Crime Update

Another STABBING and ARMED ROBBERY on Fire Trail Road

Shortly after 5:00 pm on Wednesday 1st December, 2010 police received information of a stabbing at Fire Trail Road off Carmichael Road.  Police responded and information received that a 38 year old male was walking on Fire Trail Road when he was approached by another male demanding cash.  The victim told the culprit he had no cash and was subsequently stabbed to the chest with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital via EMS personnel where he is detained in stable condition.  Police are following significant leads into the matter. Investigations continue.

UPDATE ON THE MURDER OF DEXTER BROWN

Sometime around 8:30 pm on Wednesday 1st December, 2010 police received information of a shooting at Misty Gardens.  Police responded and information received that a male was exiting the rear door to his home when he was approached by some unknown person/s who fired gunshots in the direction of the male which resulted in that male receiving multiple gunshot injuries to the body.  The victim was taken to hospital via EMS where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.  Police are investigating.

A 17-year-old Male shot in a Haitian Village

Sometime around 12:15 pm on Thursday 2nd December, 2010 police received information of a shooting at Joe Farrington Road. Police responded and information received that a 17 year old male was in the area of the Haitian Village at Joe Farrington Road when he heard gunshots and realized that he was shot to the right leg.  The victim was taken to hospital via EMS personnel where at present his condition is unknown.  Police are investigating.
