Travel Concierge Accused Of Receiving More Than $28K For Vacation Services

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A travel concierge and her husband are facing charges after a vacation allegedly failed to materialize.
58-year-old Andrea Cox and her husband, 74-year-old Reginald Cox pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing by reason of service when they appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.
Prosecutors allege the couple received $5,000 from Tanya Astwood on November 28th, 2023.
Cox is also accused of receiving an additional $28,805 from Astwood between January 2023 and March 2024.
The couple was granted bail, With Cox’s bail set at $8,000 and her husband’s at $5,000.
They are due back in court on October 7th, when they are expected to receive a trial date.
