NASSAU| Another prison officer who boasted back in 2021 of catching the bus and in 2024 was driving his own car is now facing jail time!
Kenton Roker Morley ,27, a newly recruited Corrections Officer, showed up for work this week at the prison where he was searched upon entry and was discovered to be in possession of drugs. The contraband was discovered in his shoes. And a deeper search of his vehicle uncovered more drugs and several cell phones therein.
Morley was being monitored for some time as the Department of Correction kept warning officers that if they are caught with contrands they could lock themselves behind the bars and throw away the key along with their pension and health benefits.
Morley will not be the first and we know he surely will not be the last Corrections Officer to break the codes at the prison service.
