BACSWN FOUNDER: PROJECT IS PRIVATELY FUNDED, RECEIVES NO GOVERNMENT MONEY

NASSAU| BACSWN founder Robert Dupuch-Carron says the company’s aviation and weather project is entirely privately financed and does not receive funding from the Government.

“The notion that we are receiving any money from the Government is manifestly false,” Dupuch-Carron said during an appearance on *Beyond the Headlines*. He also rejected suggestions that the project is a public-private partnership requiring the Government to repay the company later.

Dupuch-Carron said the project was examined under the former FNM administration before the Davis administration signed a Heads of Agreement with BACSWN in May 2025.

Documents previously reviewed by NewsGate support the project’s development across both administrations.

However, private financing does not answer the separate question of who will ultimately pay for BACSWN’s services. Proposed charges to airspace users remain under scrutiny, with the final rates, collection process and regulatory arrangements still to be publicly detailed.
