One hundred and Forty-eight persons became homicide victims in 2015
Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press is right now reporting another shooting incident that has left a male and female in hospital.
Police are at this hour investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Lily In the Valley Corner shortly after 6pm this evening.
We can report that a male and a female were shot and taken to hospital. The male we can report is in stable condition but the female is in serious condition.
Meanwhile Bahamas Press is reporting the 148th homicide for 2015, which took the life of Jermaine Ferguson this morning. Reports confirm t hat shortly after 4:00am this morning, (Thursday 31st December 2015) police received a report of a man being shot at Golden Palms Estates off Kennedy Subdivision. When officers arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a male who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are searching the occupants of a white Honda Coupe vehicle in connection with this incident.
