POLICE LAUNCH ISLAND-WIDE MANHUNT FOR SUSPECT/S IN EARLY MORNING SHOOTING DEATH – AND IN EVERY INCIDENT THE CAR IS A HONDA!
Police are searching for the suspect/s responsible for the shooting death of a man that occurred on
Thursday 6th August 2015.
According to reports, shortly after 3:30am, police received a report of a man found dead in a vehicle at East Street and Cordeaux Avenue. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a male in a dark coloured Honda vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. The male was pronounced dead on the scene.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending identification by next of kin.
A short while later police received a report that a male had turned up to the hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds about the body. Police are investigating the circumstances of this second shooting. The victim condition is listed as serious.
POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN SEVERAL ARMED ROBBERIES
In the first incident, shortly before 10:00pm on Wednesday 5th August 2015, a man had just pulled up to his home located at Silver Palm Boulevard, when two males armed with handguns approached and robbed him of his white 2008 Suzuki Swift vehicle before speeding off.
In the second incident, around 11:00pm on Wednesday 5th August 2015, a man was in the parking lot of a business establishment located at Baillou and Carmichael Road, when two males armed with handguns approached and robbed him of two (2) cell phones, cash and his silver 2006 Honda Accord vehicle before speeding off.
In the third incident shortly after 12:00am on Thursday 6th August 2015, a man was sitting in his white 2002 Honda Accord vehicle license number 277040 in front of a business establishment located on Charles Saunders Highway, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of his vehicle before speeding off.
In the fourth incident, shortly before 1:00am on Thursday 6th August 2015, a man was parked on Soldier Road in his, silver Honda vehicle license number 304522 when a man armed with handgun approached and robbed him of his vehicle before speeding off.
In the fifth incident, shortly before 2:00am on Thursday 6th August 2015, a man was visiting a female friend at her home located at Frank Edgecombe Way, when two males armed with handguns pulled up in a Honda vehicle and robbed him of his white 2007 Honda Accord Coupe vehicle before speeding off.
In the sixth incident, shortly after 2:00am on Thursday 6th August 2015, two men broke into a home located at Lakeview Road, where they robbed a man of cash and his 2008 white Nisan Cube vehicle.
In the seventh incident, shortly before 3:00am on Thursday 6th August 2015, a woman was driving on Cowpen Road near Spikenard Road, when three males in a white jeep armed with a firearm forced off the road and robbed her of her handbag containing a cell phone and personal effects.
In the final incident, shortly after 4:00am on Thursday 6th August 2015, a man and a woman was driving in a self drive vehicle on Peardale Road, when two men armed with handguns robbed them of a cell phone and their vehicle.
