Former Cabinet Minister Dion Foulkes in bad accident this afternoon…

Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking News coming into Bahamas Press confirms popular talk show host Orthland Bodie Jr. was served a summons before noon today to appear before a Supreme Court judge.

On Wednesday at 10am Mr. Bodie is to answer on charges of Contempt of Court.

Sources deep in the Chambers of the Supreme Court tell us that the hearing is due to an alleged breech by Mr. Bodie, where it is alleged he is said to have discussed matters on national radio in relation to a case  which is now being heard before Justice Isaacs.

What is this?

Failing to carefully explain the charges of contempt, the More 94FM popular host could be committed to prison come Wednesday morning.

Bodie, we can confirm, was served his summons by senior Officer Emmanuel along with another early today.

Meanwhile, Bahamas Press is reporting the suspension of lawyer and talk-show host Fayne Thompson from practising as an attorney by the Bahamas Bar for four months.

Notice of the suspension appeared in the Nassau Guardian early this morning.

The Bar Council gave no explanation for his suspension.
