Police wasting no time in taking down another American in foul of the law…

Nassau, Bahamas — A 57 –year old man from Massachusetts, U.S.A. is in custody after he was arrested for Threats of Death, Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm on Tuesday 1st April 2014.

According to reports shortly before 4:00pm, a female friend of the suspect reported to police that the suspect threatened to shoot her while onboard a sailboat moored off Nassau Harbour. Police arrested the suspect shortly after the report was made.

Police assisted by officers from the Customs Department and Defense Force later conducted a search of the suspect’s 40ft sailboat and found a quantity of marijuana. Police also confiscated a handgun along with 145 rounds of ammunition. Investigations are ongoing.

And in another report Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) officers have confiscated $1 million dollars worth of suspected Marijuana. The incident unfolded around 5:15am this morning when a Go Fast boat was intercepted near Andros.

Three men were arrested during the incident. Police are taking down criminals. Now let’s see what the courts ga do?

DEU MAKE DRUG ARREST

A 25 – year old man is in custody after he was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs on Tuesday 1st April 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 8:00pm, Drug enforcement Unit (DEU) Officers acting on intelligence went to St. Vincent Road, where they observed a the suspect standing outside of a home acting suspiciously. The officers conducted a search of the suspect and found a quantity of dangerous drugs in his possession. The suspect was taken into custody and is expected to appear in court later today to be formally charged.
