A BREAKING BP NEWS ALERT: An officer of the Royal Bahamas Police Force is now shot in a drive-by chase just minutes ago. The officer is shot in the head in what BP ground agents describes as a bloody scene.
Bahamas Press agents now on the ground tell us the scene chaotic at this hour. We can confirm the officer was in a high-speed chase with criminals who were suspected of firing a gun in a drive-by. In an attempt to evade justice the criminals opened fire on the officer hitting him in the head.
We can confirm the officer shot is now in critical condition. The incident occurred in the Palm Tree Ave. area. We can tell you police have cordoned the area as an aggressive manhunt is now underway. We can confirm the shooter is a EX POLICE OFFICER.
