Developers of Palm Cay, the active beachfront community along Nassau’s southeastern shore, today unveiled plans for a complex of 50 condominiums with pre-construction prices starting at $319,000 and a revolutionary sales strategy. Construction is currently underway for The Anchorage at Palm Cay condominiums with a unique first-come, first-served reservations for Phase I consisting of only 12 units.

“We are very excited about adding single-storey and 2-storey condos to the collection of single family home sites and townhomes that are generating increasing attention every month,” said Zachary ‘Zack’ Bonczek, Director of Sales and Marketing at the 69-acre, beachfront enclave along the southeastern shoreline and boasts a 194-slip marina in New Providence.

“In the past, we have focused on single family home sites and townhomes. But what we have heard more and more is that there is a demand for single and two storey condos, especially for young, professional Bahamians who want to enjoy the luxurious beachfront living and amenities offered within the Palm Cay Development.

As a result, we have designed our next phase with single and two-storey condominiums starting at the very appealing price point of $319,000 for the 1,200 square foot, one-storey unit and ranging up to $329,000 for a 1,400 square foot, double level residence.”

The Anchorage at Palm Cay will feature three floor plan choices, high-end finishings and extensive details such as, nine-foot ceilings, granite countertops, travertine tile and much more.

“What’s exciting about this new product is the innovative sale process being introduced,” said Bonczek. “Plans will be available for inspection as of noon today. In August a closing event will take place to introduce our homeowners to their neighbors.

Each reservation for Phase 1 will be secured by a fully refundable deposit of $5,000.”

Bonczek noted that reservations would be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis with an expected groundbreaking in September and the first 12 units ready for occupancy in Fall 2014.

The reservation system allows The Anchorage at Palm Cay homeowners to partake in the selection process and create a sense of community even before ground-breaking by collectively offering insight on condo features, design and amenities.

Future homeowners will even lay the first brick for their new home. According to Bonczek, creating community is what he and the team at Palm Cay have been aiming to achieve.

“For those looking for an opportunity to live in an amenities-rich, gated community environment, the timing has never been better for a move to Palm Cay.

With all the new activity, the catering by Chives at Palm Cay on Saturdays, the paddle-boarding, kayaking, kids sailing, the recent boat show, the family fishing contest, yoga classes, a symphony concert planned for September, we are achieving what we set out to do — build a secure community where life is fun and it’s great to be outside with your friends and neighbors,” said Bonczek.

Plans for The Anchorage at Palm Cay were unveiled first to the media during a press conference at Palm Cay today, July 22.
