Sometime around 7:15pm on Wednesday 17th March, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery on Soldier Road east of Abundant Life Road. Police responded, information received a phone card vendor while on Soldier Road was approached by three (3) males one of whom was allegedly armed with a handgun demanding cash. The culprits got no money and no phone cards; however, the culprits robbed the man of his jewelry and fled the area heading north on Abundant Life Road. Police are investigating.
Sometime around 9:25pm on Wednesday 17th March, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery at Sharkies, Prince George Wharf. Police responded and information received two dark males both allegedly armed with handguns entered the establishment demanding cash. The culprits robbed the establishment and a patron of an undetermined amount of cash and fled the area on foot in a westerly direction. Police are investigating.
Sometime around 8:06 am on Thursday 18th March, 2010 police received information of a Stabbing at Plane Street, Pinewood Gardens. Police responded and information received from the victim a 47 year old male resident of Jacaranda Street Pinewood Gardens, while at a residence on Plane Street he was approached by another male who forced himself into the home and stabbed him to right arm, left forearm and chest. The victim was taken to hospital via EMS personnel, where he is listed in stable condition. Police are following significant leads into the matter. Investigations continue.
