Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking news coming into Bahamas Press confirms the passing of a officer who died of a stoke at Doctor’s Hospital on Sunday morning.

Sources confirmed the officer #380 Livingston Henfield, who worked in the warrant section in Police Prosecution Division, became ill on Christmas Day and had to be taken to hospital where he never recovered.

In a statement the Force issues the following statement: “It is with a deep sense of sadness and regret that Commissioner of Police Ellison Greenslade and the Royal Bahamas Police Force mourn the death of Police Corporal #380 Livingston Henfield, who passed away on Sunday 27 December, 2015.

“At the time of his passing, Corporal Henfield was attached to the Prosecution Division of the Force.

“Condolences are extended to his family, friends, colleagues and squad mates.”

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
