Today, we pause to remember the lives taken from us in Abaco and Grand Bahama.
We honour their memory. We hold their families in our hearts and pray for their comfort and healing.
We remember the survivors who endured the unimaginable and found the strength to begin again.
We remember those who stepped forward to help – first responders, volunteers, and neighbours who became family in our darkest hours.
And we remember the children whose childhoods were interrupted, many of whom now carry that memory with them as young men and women.
Seven years later, we remember those we lost, honour those who survived, and stand with the communities that continue to rebuild and heal.
