FNM Leader Dr. Hubert Minnis has locked up the Party leadership support him – IT IS OVER!
Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking news coming into Bahamas Press late tonight as we stand outside the FNM headquarters confirms the FNM Central Council all lock in support of Dr. Hubert Minnis has reatified a one-day Conclave to be held on November 21st.
Those opposed to Dr. Minnis had hoped to overturn the decision to host the conclave in Nov., which was earlier scheduled for January 2015. The event is to settle the leadership issue once and for all.
BP understands Dr. Minnis has already galvanized a national force to knock out any potential candidate for the leadership, and has set down the guidelines for the event.
The conclave that is expected to be held at the Church of God Auditorium on Joe Farrington Road.
All positions are expected to be open for challenge. Loretta Butler-Turner protested the new change in date and was screaming victimization. WHAT IN DA HELL IS DIS!
Polls by BP conducted confirmed Dr. Minnis ahead to his closest challenger by a landslide. For the first time a dark house could emerge as the new deputy leader of the Party. Bahamas Press has learnt Senate Leader and former Minister for Education Carl Wilshire Bethel could replace Loretta as the New Deputy Leader of the Party. Butler-Turner will risk it all for a nomination for leader of the party.
