Exercise Routines to Reduce Cellulite

If you have cellulite then you know firsthand how hard it can be to get rid of it. Cellulite will cause specific areas of your skin to become lumpy. Gone is the smooth, sexy skin of your youth. But you can regain some of this smoothness if you try out some of the best cellulite exercises.

Target: The gluteus and thighs

Exercise: Squats

The squat is one exercise you should include in your cellulite-reduction exercise routine. Squats will help build the muscles on your thighs and buttocks, the areas of the body where cellulite is likely to show.

How to Do It:
1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
2.  Pull your belly button towards your spine and contract your abdominal muscles.

3. Slowly lower your body, as though you are sitting in a chair.

Three set of 12 reps.
Target: The gluteus and thighs

Exercise: The Butt-Push. 3 sets 20 reps

How to Do It:
1) Lie on your back with your knees up and pointed toward the ceiling. Feet should be firmly planted on the ground.
2) Slowly push your butt and stomach all the way up so that only your feet, head, and neck remain on the floor.
3) Slowly return to staring position.

Target: The abs and thighs

Exercise: Leg Dips. 3 sets of 16 reps

How to Do It:
1) Lie on the floor or exercise mat.
2) Place hands behind your ears.
3) Raise both legs into the air so they point straight up.
4) Lower the legs until they are about 12 inches from the floor, keeping the back pushed up against the floor.
5) Raise the legs to starting position, keeping the back pushed against the floor.

To be successful in cellulite removal a combination of the following should be applied:
•  Cellulite exercises including squats, The Butt-Push , Leg Dips ,leg raises,  and lunges which are great for tonining the thigh and buttock areas. In addition do cardio workouts daily.

Diet – eating a more natural diet play a vital role in losing cellulite, try to cut down on preservatives,  fats, salt and alcohol.
Body brushing which will boost any poor circulation that your body may have. Body brushing works best before you shower and only takes a couple of minutes.
