Hardbeatnews, NASSAU, Bahamas, Weds. Nov. 21, 2007: Daniel Smith, the 20-year-old son of the late Anna Nicole Smith, seemed fine hours before his death, a nurse yesterday testified.

Nursing assistant Francis Woodside, who is testifying before an inquest panel that was set up to determine the cause of Daniel’s death, said she had seen Anna Nicole and her son talking three hours prior to his death.

She also revealed that Daniel had been sharing the bed with his mother at the hospital, where she had given birth to his sister, Dannielyn.

Nurse-midwife Janice Knowles and phlebotomist Mavis Davis also testified that they did not notice anything wrong with Daniel hours before his death.

Daniel was found dead on Sept. 10, 2006. Bahamas Police have said there is no evidence of a homicide and an independent autopsy determined the likely cause of death to be a combination of drugs, including methadone and antidepressants.

Testimony is scheduled to resume Dec. 10. Anna Nicole died on Feb. 8 in Florida. Both mother and son are buried beside each other in the Bahamas. – Hardbeatnews.com
