What side of the fence yinner think Branville them on? NO ONE KNOWS!

DNA Leader Branville McCartney

Nassau, Bahamas — In a time of change one must wonder where some leaders will stand on national issues. One must question if their positions will move like the tide and or like the wind, or, will they stand and stick to what they believe.

We have learned that DNA leader Branville McCartney has no real gusto when it comes to sticking to his positions. He don’t know what side of the fence he stands on these days. He shifts his views and opinions based on what side of the bed he wakes up, and the latest example is on VAT.

On Tuesday this week, DNA Leader, Branville McCartney, issued a statement on VAT and said it will be bad for Bahamians.

“Already struggling families must now brace themselves for additional cost of living increases and business owners who had been planning expansions and new hires have opted to shelve those plans as they wait to see what effect the new regime will have on the economy,” Mr. McCartney said.

“The new tax regime threatens to completely and indefinitely alter the economic landscape of the country, and not for the better.”

You really must ask yourself if Mr. McCartney wrote that statement because something is not adding up.

Many know Bahamians are indeed getting discouraged with McCartney’s rants and his
“bought opinions”. They are concerned that he shifts opinions like the wind and cannot stand the test if ever elected into some leadership role.

During the 2012 campaign he went all across the country telling the nation how he was going to fix the broken tax system. He said a DNA Government will fix the broken system and will go the way of a Value Added Tax system.
