Freeport, Grand Bahama — There is more blood running down the streets of the Bahamas and another woman has become the victim of a shooting in less than 36 hours.

Bahamas Press has just learnt well-known business woman, owner of Sawyers Footsore in Freeport, Grand Bahamas was just shot several times while entering her home tonight.

We can tell you the businesswoman apparently drove from her home to Coopers Service Station trying to seek help, before passing out in her vehicle. She has been rushed to the Rand Memorial Hospital. Her condition at this time is still unknown.

Meanwhile Bahamas Press agents on the ground in Grand Bahama is reporting another traffic fatality on that island tonight. We can tell you shortly after 7pm today a female was killed in a two car collision. Accident occurred in Mcleans Town, Grand Bahama.

  1. Lady…this happens in our own town. I heard the Bahamas Red Cross has some skeletons in their closet, and FCIB especially. These people better stop being dishonst, God is watching!

  2. Bahamas Press has ID the victim of the shooting. It is not Candice DeGregory but, Candy Sawyer-Laing owner of Sawyers Foodstore in Freeport. BP apologies for the error in our earlier report.
