Murder count climb by four over the weekend

Nassau, Bahamas –– Bahamas Press is reporting a former police officer was shot dead last night.

Reports reaching our desk this morning confirms former officer #547, Kenneth Gibson, was transported to hospital after being shot in the chest near the old bridge.

The victim was 31-years-old.

Gibson was pronounced dead while at hospital. We can report the incident was the 15th murder in the capital for the year.
