There goes the man who runs the Judiciary

Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham along with members of the Judiciary attend the annual Red Mass at t. Francis Xavier Cathedral on Sunday, January 9. Pictured outside the Cathedral in the front row from left: Attorney General John Delaney, Prime Minister Ingraham, Court of Appeal President Anita Allen, Archbishop Patrick Pinder, and Chief Justice Sir Michael Barnett.

  1. Will someone please tell me what the Prime Minister was doing at the Red Mass? Is this event not reserved for members of the Judiciary? Do we not have a clear seperation of authority in our democracy making it improper for a member of the Executive to impose his presence into that ceremony an anomaly? Or was Mr. Ingraham sending a subliminal message for all to see that he is Prime Minister and controller of the Judiciary, as well?
