Former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham

Nassau, Bahamas — Reports from FNM insiders disclose that former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham has been asked to delay his publicly announced resignation on July 19th.

Like the FNM candidate for Central and South Eleuthera, Howard Johnson, who failed to meet the residency qualification, Party officials have now discovered that Mr. Ingraham’s personal choice, Greg Gomez of Murphy Town, Abaco, has been a resident of Fort Lauderdale Florida for the past eight years and only returned to Abaco shortly before the May 7th General Elections.

The million dollar question is: will Hubert Ingraham – who always boasts of being a man who says what he means, and means what he says – again do a double cross as he has done so many times before.

Sources tell BP that Cay Mills is a man who applied for the PLP nomination for the 2012 General Elections and, when unsuccessful, placed his tail between his legs, even after constantly cursing Hubert Ingraham, and threw his support on May 7th to the man he often said was not good for the people of North Abaco.

Jackson McIntosh, whose contract as a Family Island Administrator approved by the Christie Administration was not renewed by Hubert Ingraham, also applied for the PLP nomination in 2007 and again in 2012 also, but put his tail between his legs and supported Hubert Ingraham on May 7th.

Whomever the FNM runs, we know they could face a heated three man race with PLP Renardo Curry and possibly DNA Branville McCartney in North Abaco.

We report yinner decide.
